It would be amazing if this Zombie Attack Barbie action figure was real! I would get it for my little girls for Christmas! They love both Barbies and zombies so it’s the perfect gift! This hilariousBarbie was awesomely created by Sarah Anne Langton.

From the 1950s onwards girls were encouraged to hone their zombie slaughtering skills in preparation for the inevitable apocalypse. Though young ladies dispose of the undead with ease today, toys such as Mattel’s 1962 ‘Zombie Attack Barbie’ were instrumental in helping to habituate girls to a new social norm where zombie disposal would become a very necessary life skill.
Now a collectors item ‘Zombie Attack Barbie’ played a salient role in ensuring the survival of countless young girls who grew up ready and willing to slaughter the zombie menace. This much loved toy still holds fond memories for so many of the lovely ladies from our Zombie Clearance Squads today.

Rubber director Quentin Dupieux is back with another unique movie. His new film Wrong is scheduled to be part of the Sundance 2012 competition lineup as part of the World Cinema program. The film stars William Fichtner, Steve Little (Eastbound and Down) and Jack Plotnick (Rubber)Synopsis:

WRONG / France (Director and screenwriter: Quentin Dupieux) — Dolph searches for his lost dog, but through encounters with a nympho pizza-delivery girl, a jogging neighbor seeking the absolute, and a mysterious righter of wrongs, he may eventually lose his mind… and his identity. Cast: Jack Plotnick, Eric Judor, Alexis Dziena, Steve Little, William Fichtner.

An officially cool teaser poster has finally been released for Joss Whedon’s co-scripted horror film project The Cabin in the Woods. Lionsgate will be releasing the movie on April 13th 2012. It’s awesome that this movie will finally see the light of day, because there was a time where I honestly didn’t think we would. The other writter on the film was Drew Goddard (Cloverfield).
Cabin in the Woods stars Thor’sChris Hemsworth,Richard Jenkins,Bradley Whitford,Amy AckerandFran Kanz.
Here’s the most vague story synopsis ever…

Goo lord, I’m hoping this turns out to be awesome! Acker previously described the film as follows…
There’s a lot of scary monsters. It’s a scary movie. It is about a cabin in the woods. You’ve figured it out. Yeah, it’s about a cabin in the woods. It does take from the sort of formula of the horror movie of this group of young kids who go away to a cabin in the woods for the weekend, and everything that happens and what you think is supposed to happen.

DC Comics Superhero Underwear forAdults!

I’m laughing as I write up this post because it’s so ridiculous! As a kid I wore a lot of superhero underwear, as I’m sure many of you did as well. It’s just what little boys did, superheroes are cool! As I got older I never wondered or questioned why they didn’t have any adult superhero underwear, I didn’t really feel the need to search it out either. Today I came across a line of DC Comics underwear for Diesel, and they even released a commercial for it! I still think superheroes are cool, but I don’t think I’ll be sporting their underwear again any time soon.

When it comes to the holiday season, it seems there’s no love for The Dark Knight. So far he’s been scrooged, had his parents killed off, shrunk down and forced to fight a bear, kidnapped by Santa, punched by Superman, and let’s not forget on top of all that the annoying take on jingle bells that he is forcibly subjected too each year.
Honestly I’m surprised Alfred hasn’t found a suicide note telling him to check the bat-cave.

Hailee Steinfeld in Talks for ENDER’SGAME

True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld is currently in negotiations to take on the lead female lead in director Gavin Hood’s adaptation of the awesome sci-fi classic Ender’s Game. Asa Butterfield was just cast in the role of Ender, a gifted young gamer skilled in strategy and logistics who’s recruited by the government to help battle an insect-like alien race.It seems like his casting has received a positive reception from fans.
According to Variety if Steinfeld is cast she will play the character Petra Arkanian, “the only girl in Salamander Army who quickly becomes Ender’s ally and trusted right hand.” Steinfeld is an incredible young actress that would do great in this role. It was also recently reported that Harrison Ford is being looked at for the role of ColonelHyrumGraff, a character who trains the young male recruits at an elite military academy.
Hood is directing the movie from from his own script. It’s really good to see that they are going out and looking for some awesomely good talent to fill the roles of these characters. I hope that they are able to close the deals on these casting efforts.
Summit Entertainment is co-financing the film with OddLot and the plan is to release the moviein the U.S. on March 15, 2013.
